Joys of Being a Teacher

So...I told my kids just the other day that Scott and I were gonna have a baby. They kept asking because several teachers had come up to me and told me congrats and wanted to talk about it. Of course their little ears were listening and they became curious asking a million questions.

This morning I was looking at myself in the mirror and thinking, "Man...you already look like you are pregnant!!" I went to school feeling chubby to say the least (more than likely from constipation and bloating rather than a baby). I was at the front of the classroom teaching when one of my little girls raised her hand and said, "Mrs. Hodges...your belly is getting bigger. I can tell you are going to have a baby." Several of the other children agreed with her. They of course meant no harm by the statement...they were only trying to be sweet and cute. I'm not gonna lie...I kinda wanted to cry :)
